I am fairly obsessed with reading SLR lens reviews. I personally shoot Pentax, but for some unknown reason I enjoy reading reviews on every other brand as much as I do Pentax lens reviews. So I was shocked today when I came across a new lens review site. I typically read all my reviews at Photozone.de, SLRgear.com, or The-Digital-Picture.com for Canon reviews, however today I stumbled upon SLRlensreview.com. At the time of this writing it isn’t as complete as Photozone.de, but it has a surprising amount of content for a site that doesn’t show up in Google’s results until page 4 when searching for a simple string such as “Nikon 35mm f/2D review”. My only real complaint with the site is the layout. It’s awful. If I wasn’t lazy had the time I would offer to design a new theme for them.
